Lions Club Designated Nevada Day Button Vendor
The Carson City Host Lions Club has been designated an official vendor of the Nevada Day Button. Lions will be selling the buttons again this year during the Nevada Day Parade for $2.00. The Nevada Day Button is a unique memento of the Nevada Day Parade celebrating Nevada’s heritage and founding of this great state. The theme of the parade “Home Means Nevada” is represented on the button. Look for Lions in bright yellow vests along the Parade route on October 28*th. Proceeds are used in the Lions vision preservation program, to help local charities and the Nevada Day Committee.
Local businesses, including Artsy-Fartsy Art Gallery, Westside Connection, Carson Cigar Company, and Champagne Beauty Bar all supported the Nevada Day Button sale project.
